We had a very busy week in the Pre-K class.  Our visit to the grocery store and general store went really well.  I was very proud at how well the students were able to count out their money and then buy fruit and candy at the stores.  It keeps reminding me how far we have come since August.  The visit to the post office was also a major success.  We learnt about stamps and how to write our address on letters.  Then we ended the week off with decorating Easter eggs followed by an Easter egg hunt.

Next week we will be looking at firefighters, followed by a trip to the fire station museum.   Mr. and Mrs. Cheng (Ashley’s mom) and Mrs. Chien (Nathan’s mom) have generously offered to drive us there.  Also next Friday we will go to the Taichung Science centre.

Finally, I would also like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Keng (Jerrick’s mom and dad) on their new baby girl.  I have seen a few pictures of her and she is beautiful.  Her name is Jeralynn, and we are all very eager to see the newest member of the Keng family.
