        Spring must be coming soon and I can’t wait until it arrives.  We are getting to the end of our dinosaur unit and will be finished by the end of next week.  Next Thursday will be our last day of school until April 11^th.  I know the weather will be better so it will be a great time to get outside and enjoy spending time with family and friends.  Please remember to pack a suitable lunch for our field trip next Thursday to the Glass museum, its going to be a great day out!    Also, as the weather warms up please remember to replace any extra clothes that go home.  After recess and P.E Mrs. Vicky and I change the students clothes and we are finding that they are not being replaced.   

What we did in our centres this week.

Literacy Centres

1.        Pull sight words game.

2.      Finger print animals.

3.     Computer story “Dinosaurs.”

4.     Making books about Dinosaurs and guided reading with a teacher.

Math and Science Centres

1.       Math measurement game.

2.     Measuring using a ruler cut and paste activity.

3.     Making 3D structures with magnets.

4.     3D puzzles.

Reminders and Notices

1.       Please bring back “Aa, Mm” books.

2.     P.E will now be on Friday afternoons.

3.     Anything other then the “Aa, Ss” books can be kept at home.

4.     Glass Museum trip March 31^st

5.     Please replace extra clothes when they come home.

6.     Please bring back word rings to school.
