I hope everyone had a relaxing
spring break, I was lucky enough to spend some time with my parents circling
the island. On Monday we had out Easter
Egg Hunt and the kids had a great time finding coloured eggs in courtyard.
We have started our Community
Helpers unit and the kids are enjoying learning about the various occupations
throughout our society. Our first field
trip was today and the local police were very welcoming to us. Next week we will visit the post office and
local market. Our planned fire museum
trip has been cancelled because they
are too busy this month. However, we
will still be going to the fire station.
I hope to have finalized all of the details for the Baby Boss trip by
next week.
Our bean sprouts are still
growing and the students are mesmerized that plants can be fed various
liquids. A reminder that the science
fair is April 25th
I am going to start sending
home the sleeping bags. They do not need
to be returned because we are now silent reading after lunch for around 10-15
minutes.
